Emmanuel Baptist Church

For 102 years Emmanuel Baptist has had a rich heritage of spiritual ministry and impact in Gloversville and the surrounding communities. Today,

the church continues the faithful ministry of the Word of God.

We are located on the corner of James and Union Streets, not far from the center of Gloversville. The church is conveniently located, easy to find and has plenty of off-street parking. The church parking entrance is on James Street.

The congregation offers the atmosphere of an extended family. A variety of ministries are available to meet almost any spiritual need. Ministries include Sunday School, Sunday Worship, Adult Fellowship (Thursday evening), Men’s Bible Study and Women’s home Bible study. During the school year there are Thursday evening Children’s and Student Ministries.

Our Sunday worship service is a blend of praise & worship music and traditional hymns. The sermon focus is the practical application of the Word of God in daily life.
